- When the convertible top is open: The van offers two types of seats; Shady or Sunny
- Shady Seats: If you prefer to be protected from the sun and wind, no problem!

To ensure a smooth departure, please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tour to check in and board. Seats may be resold if we have not heard from you or if you have not checked in 15 minutes prior to departure. Our tours run on schedule, so timely arrival is essential.

The boarding area may be up to a block away from the Austin Visitor Center. If you require extra time to board due to a disability, please notify your guide in advance by calling 512-659-9478 so we can accommodate your needs.

Online ticket purchases are refundable up to 24 hours before tour time, and reservations may be changed to another date and/or time (subject to availability).

The Austin Visitors Center is located at 103 E 5th Street, Austin, Tx 78701
Parking: There is no customer parking directly in front of the Visitor Center. However, metered street parking is available on 5th Street, alongside the Mexic-Arte Museum and across the street (north side of 5th Street). Additional street parking can be found along other nearby blocks, including Congress Avenue, at a rate of $2.40 per hour.
To better accommodate our guests, we have partnered with Frost Bank to offer parking in the Frost Bank Parking Garage at:
401 Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78701 (Garage entrance at either 406 Brazos or 112 E. 4th St.)Visitors to the Austin Visitor Center can receive 1 hour and 10 minutes of free parking by scanning a QR code inside the Visitor Center. After the free period, the following rates apply:

- Saturday & Sunday: $9.00 for up to 12 hours.

We don’t operate on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Easter – we have reduced schedules on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
The Austin tour route may be modified because of traffic, construction, weather, parades, and sporting events.
Request for special accommodations will be addressed by management. Special arrangements may require as long as 72 hours’ notice to secure.
