What are people saying about AO Tours Austin?

Comprehensive overview of Austin!

"I love the small vehicle aspect of this tour. Bri was a great tour guide, a very competent driver, and very knowledgeable about Austin and the surrounding hill country. It's clear she loves her city. And she is very personable and responsive to questions. The hill country portion of the tour was very informative about the geography of the area and how it influences weather, water geology and even agriculture. The tour helped me to decide what places I want to visit in depth."

Just what we wanted!

"This is a great little tour. Perfect amount of time. My 24-year-old son and I had taken the tour before moving to Ausin 2 years ago, and I knew it was the best way to give my visiting friends a quick intro without the stress of fighting the traffic and being tour guide. We took the tour on a Thursday at 12:30. That gave us time to have breakfast and enjoy a walk around Lady Bird Lake before the heat kicked in. It was one of those hot days and it was so comfortable and relaxing in that Mercedes van. Each tour guide has their own style, and they give you the historical highlights spiced with some of their own favorite places and experiences. A heads up here: The tours run very efficiently and leave right on schedule. We almost missed it, but my tour guide gave me a personal call to see where we were. We parked in the visitor center garage on 5th Street. Very convenient. Do give yourself a minimum of 15 minutes after parking to browse the visitor center and use the conveniences before boarding the van! After the tour, at 2:30, we were able to walk to Stub's, one of the recommended, for a Texas BBQ lunch after the crowds! And we still had time to visit some of the other places that we saw on this tour. WORTH EVERY PENNY!"

You can’t go wrong...

Took several tours in a few day’s time. Every guide was extremely personable and knowledgeable. All tours departed on time and sometimes went a bit long in order to answer questions or show us just a little more! Tours are popular and fill up very quickly. All tours are value packed and worth every cent! You can’t go wrong...

Amazing tour

"This tour was better than I expected. Excellent tour guide that gave us the History of the area and showed us some amazing places. I've lived in the Central Texas area and had no idea how beautiful Austin was. This is a MUST SEE tour if you are coming from out of town. The Mercedes bus was very comfortable. We got to see all of the "must see" areas of Austin and then some. I highly recommend this tour!"

Fun tour

"We went on the 12:30, Sunday afternoon tour. It was a great way to see a lot of the city in a fairly short time, and a lot of places we wouldn't have seen on our own. The van was comfortable and we could see well."

"Just the way it should be. A great way to spend a cool 90 minutes to get an overview of the city. Then, we went back to the sites we wanted to spend more time at. Easy!"
