Super tour! Really enjoyed the tour because of the amount of things we saw and places we went. Doug was a superior guide with lots of extra info from the taped info.

Our tour guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Could have never visited Austin’s countryside if it wasn’t for this tour, other than the most popular place in Lake Travis. Worth the price!

This was a fantastic tour and an excellent and comfortable way to see highlights of Austin! Our tour guide, Doug, was fun, entertaining, and knowledgeable! Very comfortable and felt safe as he drove us around to see so many interesting and beautiful areas. My elderly parents were on the tour also and they had a great time and were so appreciative they came along.

The Austin/Hill country tour was great...Amazing views and lots of. History. Michael was a good tour driver.

This was a fun small bus tour which in 1.5 hours (perfect amount of time) took us all around Austin and environs with a knowledgeable tour operator. When we arrived on our "gals' trip" my friends and I were looking for a way to get a quick overview of Austin and this was the perfect, reasonably priced way to do it. We traveled in a Mercedes Sprinter which held about 14 of us in air conditioned comfort (it was a hot day!) We got to see all of downtown Austin and then a few outlying neighborhoods we knew nothing about. This tour helped inform us of some places we wanted to see more during the rest of our visit.

We had a wonderful tour of Austin on Saturday. The van offered great visibility and it was comfortably cool inside (very hot outside) Our tour guide was informative, fun and had a lot of energy! I highly recommend this tour.

Our group did the Very Best of ATX tour and our tour guide, Doug, was awesome, a wealth of Austin trivia. I've lived here for 13 years so it was really cool hearing trivia about some of my favorite places and also seeing ones I've never even heard about. Now I have a handful of places to check out. Looking forward to doing another tour! The BBQ and wine tour sounds delicious!!

A nice way to begin our first visit to the Austin area. We learned so much and enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Corey, was knowledgeable and friendly. He welcomed our questions and made good suggestions. We would do this again and highly recommend it for adults.

My mom, sister, and I really enjoyed our tour - and our tour guide, Michael. He was personable and polite, pointed out little known facts and encouraged us to interact with him and with one another. The tour included Austin history, scenic views of the Hill Country, and highlighted landmarks. I would definitely recommend their services.

It’s a nice way to see the heart of the city without having to try to figure it out yourself without a guide. The van was comfortable and more intimate with tons of windows to see from without all the crowds. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and we recommend this tour to get out and see the sights that surround the heart of the city.

Get the lay of the land in 90 minutes with a hassle-free, comfortable van ride, then choose what to explore from there. Dow's commentary was entertaining and informative. The narrated audio recording is a little hokey but perfectly fine.

The is the best way to see Austin. It was 103 degrees in Texas and the comfort of an air conditioned van was a must. Plus, our guide Dow was fantastic as we learned all about the area. Lady Bird lake, the Hill country, the Historic section. What did we see? Just about everything. South, West, Downtown. Botanical gardens, rolling hills, wilderness preserves, Lake Austin, Austin Library, MexicArte, French Legation, Governor's Mansion, UT Austin, Capitol Building and more! If you have the time, definitely choose Austin and Hill Country for your tour.

I learned some interesting things about Austin, and enjoyed the tour. I liked going by the Capital and the Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Loved seeing the Capitol and the historic areas. Our guide, Doug, was very knowledgeable and engaging.

The drive on the outskirts of Austin and through the state cemetery was beautiful. I had no idea how beautiful the hill country is. Michael gave a great history and general overview of the area.

I had so much fun and learned a lot too! I highly recommend AO Tours whether you’re just visiting Austin or a local looking for a fun way to learn more about this great city. I went for a fun morning out with the girls (Women of Austin group), but came away with several ideas for day trips and fun educational outings to enjoy with my kids in the future.

A comprehensive tour of the city of Austin, Texas. Covered all distinct areas through out with good recorded commentary highlights. Mike, the tour guide, did a good job pointing out important places of interest. There were 5 on the 2:30 pm Sunday tour, which made it very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the mini van as it rained off and on. Highly recommend.

DOUG is the BEST!! So glad we decided to take this tour to see areas of Austin we wouldn’t have normally seen! I HIGHLY recommend this tour (the extended version!)

Great tour! Love that it took you out of downtown Austin and into the hills! Lots of fun facts that were shared, but not overwhelming with information. Like that they had audio tape for added information. Michael was a very knowledgeable tour guide! He did a great job!

Doug was THE BEST GUIDE!!! This was our favorite activity in Austin. We got a full view of the city, saw Barton Springs, great tour of hill country, and all in a convertible van with Doug as our guide! Highly recommend!!!

Barton Springs and the old cemetery were very interesting. Doug was our tour guide and he was great. Very knowledgeable.

Excellent customer service experience with the company since first interaction: another company in town let us down, we came across AO Tours and called late in the evening. The representative had great manners and so customer service oriented. She managed to find this tour for the following day. About the tour: our driver Doug was a fantastic guide: knowledgeable, structured and clear explanations, straight to the point with facts and history. I loved the absence of annoying and stupid jokes that too often, in similar tours, it indicates a lack in knowledge. The expectations were fully met: best introduction to Austin that you can get so that you can go back and revisits the place at your own pace . The only downside of this tour was the rest of the group unfortunately: they were very disengage and disrespectful. They got offered best seats in the van and they were constantly on their phones playing games.

We had the pleasure of Corey being our driver. He was so detailed and informational. I actually preferred his explanation instead of the radio guided tour. The bus arrived promptly and was clean and accommodating. I love the usb connections to keep your phone charged along the awesome ride. The convertible style bus was a huge a perk, then when it rained a little the huge glass windows were nice to view the city at all angles. Corey’s knowledge was extremely detailed and he had a lot of fun facts and a few jokes that kept us on our toes. He made sure we knew the bus would be parked at all times and made sure we knew what time to head back. He gave us the heads up when to have cameras ready for amazing Austin city views and more. He made several stops to very historic statues, and others that I don’t want to spoil for you. We love the locations the tour offered he even had a back up plan to one of the coffee shops that was overcrowded outside and it was raining. Speaking of rain, he also offered several umbrellas to us as we made stops. Luckily it didn’t rain much, it was very light and short but he handled it well. He has a vibrant loud podcast voice that you can hear all the way in the back and even took talking breaks so we could take in the moment at some of the beautiful spots. Corey was just a 5 Star driver and I highly recommend you request him for a great ride. We loved every single location and hidden mini locations leading up to the main ones. I recommend you start this tour on your first day so you can plan out the rest of your trip with the all of the info you learn about downtown Austin and the outskirts. So so glad we took this tour and was blessed to have Corey as our driver for the ultimate experience.

This trip was great! Hard to see anything while driving. We really enjoyed it. Our driver was very good at his job.

A no nonsense 90 minute guided trip without any stops. Michael our driver and guide was not a local but had a good knowledge, so would never have known. As well as the talk, there was audio recording to give us extra information and bring it to life.

Michael was very knowledgeable of the Austin area. He provided in depth information about the places we passed. He even closed the top because it got hot.

It was going to rain so they did not open the top. Overall a great tour during our first time in Austin You will get lots of history and get to see sights around the city. This was a great way to get out of the heat and humidity of Austin and enjoy a comfortable ride and learn a lot of new things about Austin. The seats were comfortable it was nice and cool and air conditioned but the feet area was a little cramped

Very quick tour - but perfect amount of time to see some of the main sights. Would recommend this on your first day in town to get some exploring tips. Doug was great!

It was very comfortable to cruise in a van and take a tour of various sections of the city. The information was very interesting.

Phenomenal staff. Upon check in there were friendly smiles, clean bathrooms and a great gift shop. The tour guide was very informative and helpful. I took the extended version and I highly recommend it. Austin is like several little cities all around a city. The trip was so speedy but lots of information packed in.

Super-great! I traveled here for business conference and had some time in the afternoon - taking this tour makes me want to come back on a personal vacation with a guest, as I was able to see that there's lots to experience in Austin! The van we traveled in was extremely clean and comfortable, and our driver was really friendly.

This tour is like ordering the sampler or bread basket at your favorite international restaurant, y'all folks with FOMO. You get to see the best of Austin in the near-best way possible. I say near-best because some of these places are best as full day trips when you have the time. Our guide and driver, Cory, was knowledgeable, friendly, and was very clear. He made the trip very enjoyable. He put the convertible top up a couple of times to keep the road noise/heat out. More than enough stops on this route for folks with an active bladder or can't let go their supersized drinks.

We booked a Very Best of ATX Panoramic City Tour with Stops on AO Tours and had the best time! Our tour guide Corey was knowledgeable and engaging. The Mercedes Van had the option to remove the roof. It was a beautiful day so we did the tour with the top down. I live locally, but my aunt was visiting from out of town. We both learned a lot about Austin! We stopped at the Austin Public Library during the tour and had time to explore and go up to the 6th floor outdoor butterfly garden. The tour went through downtown, south Austin, East Austin, and more. We saw beautiful buildings, colorful murals, lots of water and greenery. We also learned about the interesting history of Austin mixed in with fun facts about the city. We thought that 90 minutes was the perfect amount of time. I highly recommend AO Tours and will definitely book them again.

Got to see a huge amount in and around Austin, in a very comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van with a convertible roof, so was open top for most of the journey. Our guide Doug was super friendly and very knowledgeable, not just about the landmarks but about the good (and bad) places to eat and drink. A great way to see Austin and plan out your stay.

Awesome tour of Austin! We had a great tour guy, Doug, who showed us all to see in Austin. Check in to the tour was super smooth and easy to find the busses. Tour lasted about 1.5 hours and we saw all the Austin hot spots. Doug was very knowledgeable, offered great recommendations and know the history of Austin well. Would recommend booking if you're looking to view Austin!

This tour gives a concise view of the set up of Austin. You listen to a pre-taped recording along with the driver adding in. It is a very scenic drive. Great value for sure!

Excellent comprehensive tour of Austin. The tour went first to the fringes of the city giving us a panoramic view of how it is situated among lakes, waterways and spectacular countryside. Then we were treated with a neighborhood by neighborhood ride through the city nd university. It was well narrated with just the right amount of information - history and current - and by both a prerecorded, well produced recording of two people interacting, and our tour guide interjecting during pauses and to answer questions. I routinely take such a tour when arriving in a city in order have an overview before going out on my own. This is one of the better ones. I highly recommend it - comfortable, well accommodated van carried a perfect smallish group.

Everything was great, especially Doug our tour guide. He was informative, friendly and told us where to go and not to go for a super time and good food. He even told us where there was some free parking for the State Capital, which I made good use of. My only regret is that we did not take the tour when we first came to Austin as we would have enjoyed our visit much more! Mary in the office is easy to deal with and very accommodating!

This 2 1/2 tour in a comfortable van is a MUST for an Austin visit if you are interested in the city beyond its live music and bars. Very good value. I was happy to do it on my first day of 4 so I had a greater appreciation of what I'm now seeing. I saw so much that I would never have seen, was Wowed by the Hill Country and its luxurious homes, saw Barton Springs, climbed to the highest point in Austin and walked around the storied Driscoll Hotel. I hear the company is launching an art and architecture tour and I will come back for it. I was happy I didn't sign up for the 90 minute tour because the city is spread out and there is too much to see.

The best tour I did in Austin! I had originally planned to walk and explore by myself while my boyfriend was in work meetings. Unfortunately, I did not feel safe even in the daytime. By the end of the first day I had already decided I wasn't doing any more exploring unless it was on a tour. That way someone could drive me around, and I would not have to…

Took the 90-minute tour and really enjoyed the views of downtown, South Austin & Hill Country. Our driver relayed some fun history and fun perspectives on Austin culture.

I would recommend doing this as your first stop in Austin. We crossed so many things off of our must-see list. We learned a lot and Doug was kind and entertaining. After we got off of the bus, we went to one of his recommended restaurants and loved it. We then went back and walked some of the areas we were curious about. It was a great investment of our time for less than ride shares to all the places. Must do!

Great tours and tour guide. You will get a holistic view of Austin in 1.5 hours. I specifically enjoyed learning more about the lakes and Somme if Austin’s history and highlights.

My wife and I were looking for a quick way to get acquainted with Austin. Their 90 minute ATX tour is a great way to do that. They have the nicest (Mercedes sprinter) most comfortable tour buses that we saw. It's pretty cool how they can convert them into open air like a convertible. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny.

This tour was amazing! Doug was the best guide - he had to make some adjustments to the tour on-the-fly because of the marathon, and did so with ease and humor. His narration was informative and funny, and the tour itself covered some interesting places in Austin. I'd highly recommend the tour with stops and the glasstop van.

Our driver, Jordan, was full of trivia and took us to some great areas in Austin, including the Red River, 6th St and Warehouse districts. We saw some great topography in the hill country, and some lovely homes on the west side. The ride was air conditioned and comfortable. Would recommend.

From the start of the tour to the end, this was a fantastic adventure. Our guide, Doug, was personable and on point every moment of the tour. His comedic approach was quite welcome and appreciated by all on the trip. He gave us lots of personal recommendations that turned out to be excellent. I would strongly recommend this tour and wish I had taken it earlier in my vacation. We waited for a warmer day so we could have the open air experience. I learned so much about the city which means I will need to come back to explore even further. I would definitely consider taking another tour on our next visit. There were three generations of my family on the tour and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed it!

Doug was a perfect guide for this bus tour, thorough, fun, great commentary and an excellent driver. We didn't have much time to spend in Austin and the Austin Visitors Center recommended AO Tours for us. We saw the city highlights (so many parks in Austin) including the downtown and then got out of town to get a taste of the hill country. The Mercedes bus we traveled in was luxe! If you are are short on time, or just want to hit the highlights with friends I highly recommend this tour.

I'm so glad we did this tour early on in our visit to Austin. You really get to see the many neighborhoods of Austin and helped us decide where we might want to revisit later in the week. Beauty of the Hill Country is breathtaking. Our tour guide Jack was very knowledgeable of the city and offered some good tips and recommendations. It's a must - do!

3 adults on this 90 minute tour of Austin and the hill country. Tour was all driving in a very comfortable sprinter van that accommodated 14 (there were 10 on the tour). There is an aisle so there are some 2 seaters, aisle, then 1 seat. Could see well through the windows. Driver narrates as well as an audio narration. Saw Hill Country, upscale homes, Lakes (really rivers), and downtown Austin. Gave us a nice overview and some interesting factoids. Greg was a great driver, explained things and did a great Matthew McConaughey. Good value for the cost.

Doug was very knowledgeable and brought humor to the tour. I wish I'd done this tour the first day I was in Austin as it really helped me to gauge where things were so that I could do some exploring on my own. Definitely recommend this tour as we got to see quite a bit of Austin and learn some of it's history.

This is a great 90 min tour of Austin. The van was comfortable and air conditioned. Our driver, Jordan, was great. As we were driving thru the neighborhoods of Austin, he added his own thoughts and personal history to the commentary that was playing during the tour. Best part of the tour- driving thru the Austin cemetery! I highly recommend this tour for those who don't have a lot of time in Austin but want to see a lot of the city.

I booked this tour online as we wanted to do a hop on hop off tour when we arrived in Austin. AO tours had good reviews so we decided to book this tour with them. We would have booked the tour with the hill country but it wasn't possible to book that one online only by phone. So i booked this one for 3 of us in December. The booking process was simple and we all had to sigh a waiver by email before the tour which I hadn't had to do before. But we did it easily enough and we were updated accordingly. The departure point is really easy to find and we met Jack our tour guide. He was very friendly and we really enjoyed his tour of downtown Austin. There are only 2 stops where you get off and little time there so we saw a bit but then returned to those places on our own at a later time. The tour is played over a speaker and every now and then jack would add his own touch which made it far better and more personal. All in all it was a really great tour to start our holiday in Austin and get an overview of the downtown area. We also learned a lot about Texas and Austin which was really nice as the tour is very informative. Thank you Jack for a really great tour, you are an excellent tour guide who made it lots of fun and gave a really relaxed, friendly tour and a nice warm welcome to Austin for myself and my family. You also took time to chat to me and my family whenever you could which made the tour all the better. I would definitely book a future tour with AO tours and recommend to family, colleagues and friends.

I liked the commentary from the guide in tandem with the audios that were played. I sat behind the driver seat so i could see everything that was pointed out on the left and the right. It was an awesome experience and I really got to see the beautiful city of Austin as well as learn some great history

Doug was our tour director and was so very informative. Some of us got rid of the earbuds and only listened to him. He provided choices for our group as far as the walking, taking into consideration the group's ability. He also let our group decide when to open the convertible top. We'd use him and AO Tours again.

I truly enjoyed Barton Springs, Mount Bonnell, including walking the 101 Steps/Immaculate Views of Austin, as well as the overall drive/tour of the City!

I didn't have a car so I really appreciated seeing the area outside of where i was staying in downtown. The hill country homes were beautiful. The van was very comfortable and we all appreciated having the open top as the weather was great for a Jan. day. Doug was a great guide, very knowledgeable.

Our trip began in Austin and took us to Barton Springs and Hill Country. The views were absolutely beautiful. Our guide, Doug was knowledgeable, fun , patient and an amazing driver!! This is a great tour option if you want to quickly get your bearings on the city and surrounding area of Austin. The tour is a fair price, comfortable van and our guide Jack provided lots of input between the program narratives. My family liked the compressed no stop tour. I learned a lot and will be able to explore more on my next visit.

As stuck in Austin for days during Christmas time due to my SW flights cancelation, I looked up for some short local tour to relieve myself from depression. I wasn't disappointed! This tour was comfy and interesting in a convertible Mercedes-Benz van. Doug, the tour guide cum the driver was knowledgeable, funny and did good job. I would recommend it to anyone would like to know Austin with limited timing!

I picked this tour not because of price, but since it was going to rain, the double decker buses I was told won't run. Austin Tours No company has a "Hop on - Hop Off" tour like there is in San Antonio, which we liked. Bus 4/5 No arm rests or hand hangers above your head, either would have helped. Tour 4/5 The bus was a little too fast for my comfort out to the hill country, as well as around corners etc, like a hotel or rental car shuttle, at the airport. Drivers vs Tour 4/5 This tour has a lot of pre-recorded audio, which has it's pro's and con's. I prefer a tour guide vs pre-recorded. Value 5/5 This was a inexpensive tour, booked last minute. Would have paid more for a slower and longer tour. Website 3/5 Wish the company had ALL their tours on one website, we would have taken the longer tour. It's a family operation and as a small business owner, I would drive the buses slower, taking it easy around corners etc. an consider either some short stops for pictures or a longer tour. I WOULD take another tour from this company, just the longer tour, with the roof that opens.

Booked this trip last minute and absolutely felt like a VIP. The bus/convertible was awesome! Our guide was super helpful and patient and create a truly fun and informative experience! Only wish it was a bit longer and included other sections of Austin!

Highlights for me were Mount Bonnell & Texas State Cemetery (Gene Cernan - what a hero) The tour provides great information, and I’d suggest you do it early in a visit to Austin, it’ll give great guidance on where to spend the rest of your visit.

A true whistle-stop tour of Austin and Hill Country, with an excellent introduction to this beautiful city, its history & future, and stunning views from Hill Country. I had originally planned to do a more localized walking tour (but didn't due to timing issues) and I'm glad I did the AO Austin and Hill Country tour instead as it gave me a better introduction and understanding of the city and what it has to offer - and has added lots to my "must see & do" list, much of which I may have remained unaware of without the tour. I did the "Austin + Hill Country Panoramic Tour with Stops" tour, and really enjoyed it. Since I flew in and did not rent a car, this was the best way I found to see the areas outside of downtown that I could not get to on foot. Ari was an excellent guide, and it was a beautiful day for an open-air tour. It was perhaps a little on the pricier side, but when you consider it's a very small-group tour (I think the van only seated maybe 12 and there were only 4 of us on board) and the tour lasted 2.5 hours, it was a really good value.

This is a great company with fun people to show you around the Austin area. They have a nice, comfortable Mercedes van that is perfect for sightseeing. We enjoyed the tour and hope you give them a try!

We were going to do the hop on hop off bus tour but it didn’t run early in the week. The Austin Tourist centre recommended this trip and we are so glad we took it! We enjoyed being able to have an overview of Austin, before deciding what we want to see more of. Our driver/guide Doug was entertaining and shared stories and pointed out good places to visit. It was great get up into the hills and see another perspective of Austin. Thanks to Doug we now plan to see State Congress and the city library.

The driver was great!! The transportation was so comfy and clean. We drove to the all the highlights that Austin has to offer.

Carson, or whatever his name was, was the man. He was so hilarious I forgot to get clarification on his name. Floral shirt, ear rings, and really funny. He kept us smiling and enjoying the tour the whole time. The van they had was very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Only 4 people were on the tour, but even with only 4 of us the tour felt full. Overall, awesome experience.

Viator makes it easy to see all the sites when on vacation. It was convenient, lots of great stops, tour guide was great and informative, luxury van had air conditioning as the Texas weather was triple digits. I downloaded the app for future trips!

It was my first time in Austin, so I wanted to see the full city and this tour was great. Tour guide had good energy and the vehicle was comfortable! I only gave it a 4 because there was no glass ceiling on the vehicle I got on ... I was a tad disappointed, but the views were amazing! I did the non-stop, so I'm sure the other option is amazing.

The tour was amazing - gave us a great perspective of the many sides of Austin from the stunning hills in the West to the best food trucks in the east. Bus was brand new and very comfortable and the driver made sure we weren’t stuck in traffic wasting the tour. Would highly recommend doing this early in your trip to get your bearings.

Had to make a change to plans the day before due to unforeseen circumstances, and Mary did an excellent job finding another tour that worked with our schedule. THANKS, MARY! So, i took a visiting friend and we did the 2 1/2 hour tour on Sunday with Ari as our guide. I'd done one before, and thought it was "...ok..." - but a different friend visiting brought me back to try again... AND I'M GLAD I DID! Maybe knowing what to expect helped, or maybe having a friend who enjoys history made a difference, but I was very pleasantly surprised! I love the added stop at the Driskoll, and being allowed to leave from there (our car was parked a block away, but it would have been a 4 block walk from the visitor center). The brief stops at Barton Springs, Mount Bonnell and the Driskoll were short but just right. Ari was very knowledgeable and had a few good stories to add! I will definitely do this again any time we have a visitor. And I plan on bringing my 93 year old mom on the 90 minute (non-stop) tour.

We worked our way to the visitors bureau where we met our tour guide Carson. He was very friendly and considerate as he gathered our group together. We were in a comfortable, clean Mercedes air-conditioned van for our tour. It was a great way to see the city as well as the outskirts-Hill Country. Carson was very knowledgeable on his own and, there was a scripted narration as well. He also knew the area very well as he had to navigate traffic and road blocks. There were no opportunities to take photos except through the windows as there are no stops. Thanks Carson for sharing your home town history with us.

We enjoyed a terrific 90-min tour of downtown Austin with Joel as our driver/guide. The open air van is very comfortable (rides nicely) and most lines of sight are clear and easy to follow. Joel very clearly described what we were seeing, pointed many interesting landmarks, as well as the relevant history and people associated with them. The two brief stops were well-timed to stretch out legs and see some interesting feature up close. We highly recommend to broad overview of downtown Austin.

Just had an amazing whistle stop tour of Austin. We arrived at 12.30pm today and booked this tour for 2.30pm. Great value and as we only have one night in Austin this short but comprehensive tour gave us a really good feel for the city. We had a a fantastic tour guide called Ari who was very knowledgeable, engaging and also drove with ease whilst talking about the sights and recounting lots of interesting facts. If you are short on time like us and would like to take in as much of this beautiful city as you can then you have to do this tour.

The tour covered a lot of Austin and the tour guide was ver6 knowledgeable about the area. The recorded narrator gave some very good historical information about the different landmarks and sites as well. Seeing the tall man looking up and the view from Mount Bonnell was my favorite sites.

The tour was great and incorporated everything from the Hill Country to the Capital. I learned so much about Austin and felt like I could go and explore all kind of cool places on my own. If you are new to Austin and the Hill Country, this is a good tour. Joel was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating as our tour guide. We enjoyed the headphone tour and the added bits of insight that Joel gave us. He made us want Togo back to Austin soon!

The driver Ari was amazing, full of info, and answered all our questions. As someone who loves to take photos, there were not a lot of opportunities other than one stop. I was able to take take a few out the window. But this was a very enjoyable tour, especially because Ari spoke a lot and did not rely just on the audio recording. My one issue is traveling solo feels like a crime. I get charged more!! This seems to be a theme in this city. However I would certainly do this one again.

Let me premise this with I am not a fan of tourist city tours and if I ever do go on one it's usually just a map I paid to go on. With that said this tour was extremely entertains and our driver Joel was very easy to listen and very engaging! I thought for sure I had just paid $49 to take a nap but I was severely mistaken!! Dow was our tour guide. He is a native Texan and knew so many unique things besides the highlights of Austin. The vehicle was warm and comfortable with large windows for easy viewing, the audio was clear, Dow was open to questions and interested in where the guests were from. Even though the weather was chilly with a light rain, the tour was great!!

Joel our Driver/ Guide was amazing. He really brought the trip to life. The time went so quickly and there did not seem to be anywhere that Joel could not go in the van. A great day.

I was in town for a meeting and had time to spare. Not knowing the city of Austin at all I decided the tour would be a great way to get a good overview. It was 90 minutes with both narration by recording and information from the driver/host. I thoroughly enjoyed the time and what I learned about Austin. It made me want to return to actually enjoy what the city has to offer.

Our tour guide was knowledgeable friendly, humorous and easy to understand. We had head phones with some prerecorded narration plus the driver’s comments. Both were appreciated. Every stop was enjoyable and nicely timed. We were blessed with beautiful weather so the top was open. We have done city tours in many places as we travel and this was one of the best. It was nice to avoid Austin traffic!

The hill country vistas and points about Texas history were most memorable. Not being from Texas, there is always so much to learn and discover about this huge State. Had no idea about the Confederate Soldier burial section of the State Cemetery.

We had a tour that used the open air van which was great. It happened to be a not too hot day so it was nice to ride around and see the sites without looking through a window. Overall, this is a great way to see Austin and included a couple of stops along the way to roam around a bit. Being new to the city, you can get a good overview of the neighborhoods, history, and other notable sites. This is definitely worth while to get a sense of what Austin has to offer.
